It was observed during the mid-term evaluation, that many people with their artificial limbs are continuing to use them even in a worse condition of the limb, as it was quite difficult for them to replace the worn-out limb. In these circumstances, Rural India Self Development Trust, (a project of Swiss Emmaus Leprosy Relief Work India), Kathipudi collaborated with Sri Guru Deva Charitable Trust, Mangalapalem, Vizianagaram district, which is providing these limbs free of cost for the benevolence of the suffering Persons Affected by Leprosy. The organization agreed and a measurement camp was scheduled in the RISDT Campus on 18th November 2016. The project staff informed all 43 people who required the limb. 29 of them attended the camp. Of them, women are 8 and men 21.
